We started CTF Enterprises Inc. to
provide an easy solution to one of life’s common problems: broken zippers. Most
people have experienced a broken zipper on their sleeping bag, tent, or even
favorite jacket. But most people don’t know how to fix a broken zipper or know
where get a zipper repaired. That’s why we developed the FixnZip, to allow
people to easily and affordably repair their own zippers.
We’re in the business of zipper repair, but at the
heart of our company is a strong value for sustainability and reducing waste.
Because repairing or replacing a zipper can be confusing and costly, most
clothing and gear with damaged zippers ends up in the landfill. Our goal is to
fundamentally change the way people view broken zippers by making them easier
and cheaper to repair. By doing that we can prolong the life of clothing and
gear and prevent needless waste. We’re also currently in the process of
eliminating all single use plastics from our packaging and processes.
The product was invented in 2007 by Chris Felix, and
launched as “FixnZip” in 2012 in Portland, Oregon where we are still
headquartered today. We’re a small business with a large reach, with
distribution across the US, Canada, the UK, Germany, Australia and China.
